For nearly fifty years Longridge has provided accommodation and services for any retired, aged or disabled person, irrespective of financial circumstance, race, colour or creed. It is a community owned, not-for-profit organisation, aiming to not only provide affordable care for all residents but to ensure their lives are active, fun and fulfilling.
Over the years, bequests have allowed Longridge to evolve and to continue to meet the growing demand for services. Some recent projects achieved due to the generosity of former residents and their families include the Men’s Pergola, the Independent Living Unit pavilion and, most recently, the Mobility Van.
Some of the future projects we would like to complete include the purchase of a new bus for residents, a ‘turning’ bed and to assist with the development of our plans for an on-site coffee shop.
Thank you for considering leaving a gift to Longridge, which is tax deductible. When creating your Will, firstly provide for family and friends and then, after seeking independent legal advice, consider whether you can also include a gift to Longridge. Every gift, whether large or small, is hugely appreciated, and received with gratitude from every person whose life it improves.
